On July 17, 2011, I got together with an amazing man. Chris. I never knew him, but he knew who I was, and I found out that he grew up literally four houses away from me, and we lived in a subdivision, so you can imagine how close this is.
On December 1, 2011, we moved in together. While I was in a different city during the week because of school, I was still there with him every chance I got.
On March 30, 2012, he asked me to marry him! I said yes of course.
In May 2012, we expanded our little 'family' and got a 5 pound Yorkie. He's a pain in the butt at times, but he's a great dog. And extremely smart too!!
November 1, 2013, we decided to move into a bigger apartment. Going from a 1 bedroom, less than 500 square feet, to a 2 bedroom over 800 square feet apartment was a HUGE difference.
Friday, January 3, 2014, I was several days late on my monthly cycle. So I decided that I would take a test just to be sure. I wasn't expecting, as I'd taken several and they all had been a Negative, so imagine my surprise when it was a positive before the time was even up!
I was going to wait to tell Chris, but I couldn't hold my excitement any longer. So a friend came over and video taped it, which I'll share that video later on.
Since we've found that I'm pregnant, we've decided to get married sooner, rather than later as originally planned. We had planned to wait until I was done with school, but since we're having a baby, we've decided to get married sooner.
This is the journey of my life. Throughout my pregnancy, being a pregnant bride, and being a wife and mother late on.
